The Philadelphia Eagles announced Friday that they’ve placed MLB Joe Walker on injured reserve.
This move could very well open a roster spot for rookie CB Sidney Jones to be activated from the PUP list this weekend.
Walker, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Eagles back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.557 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $630,000 and $720,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2017, Walker appeared in 12 games for the Eagles and recorded 10 tackles and a pass defense.
